Tim Buykx

Tim is a Landscape Architect and Urban Designer with experience in infrastructure development, urban and landscape design, open space planning, strategic landscape and recreation development. He has managed and directed landscape and urban design projects from both the client and service provider perspective. His experience working as a consultant and in government has endowed him with a well developed understanding of the needs of the client, authority and end users. He recognises the need for high quality in design, environmental and recreation development and the need for stakeholder involvement. Tim has been involved in team and project management and delivery for a number of large scale design projects for private and public clients including infrastructure developments, tourism precinct development, park and open space planning and design, residential landscape development and environmental design. Tim is an active member of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, has presented numerous conference papers and been published in texts and journals.
