Tim Cook

I am a professional Aeronautical Engineer, with skills, knowledge and experience in a broad range of disciplines required for the design and development of civil and military aircraft. My career has had me working on a wide range of exciting projects, from the Airbus A380, the proposed 2nd generation supersonic commercial transport (successor to Concorde), to the Orions, Seahawks and Hercules aircraft of the Australian Defence Force. I am passionate about the industry, and promoting the aeronautical engineering profession in Australia and overseas, and developing safer and more efficient aircraft and industry practices. Specialties: Aircraft component loads analysis; flight loads modeling, structural analysis; repair design/production liaison; weight and balance analysis and weight prediction; aircraft configuration analysis; aircraft performance and economic assessments; knowledge of airworthiness requirements, regulations and standards; presentation of technical data to partner and customer organisations; mentoring of younger engineers in their professional development.
