Tim Duffield

I am currently employed by Bishop Building in the Barossa Valley as a Commercial Project Manager. My role covers estimating, bidding, project delivery and many other facets that cover the complete solution. Project sizes range from $2m to $10m. Previously i was employed at Laing O'Rourke as a Quantity Surveyor (Contracts Administrator) on the Osborne North Development Project- Future Submarines Project, in the Lendlease team as a Project Engineer at Melbourne Park - Rod Laver Arena Stage 3, with the Probuild team at West Side Place/Ritz Carlton in Melbourne CBD, the Star Casino's 6 Star Luxury Hotel - The Darling Hotel on the Gold Coast, and was in the tender team for the Queens Wharf Integrated Resort Development and various other high profile projects. Securing these positions is credit to my strong work ethic, ability to work well in teams and my studies - Bachelor of Construction Management and Quantity Surveying at Bond University. Throughout my studies I consistently demonstrated commitment evident by my numerous achievements awarded through the university and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) international competition held in Hong Kong in 2016 - my team placed 1st in Australia and 2nd in the world. I was also involved with the 30yr Town Planning and Economic Strategy for Kirra Kirra in the Solomon Islands after receiving numerous Government Grants through Bond University. Apart from work, I am an active supporter of a variety of children's charities, and live an active lifestyle. I look forward to an ongoing exciting career in the construction industry.
