Storyteller. Business owner. Listener. Learner. Curator. Failer-and-get-up-againer. People and project manager. This has been my path. Film & television filled the first ten years of my professional career. From Discovery HD and NBC Sports to award winning documentaries and Toyota commercials; I had the opportunity to write, direct, produce, edit and deliver. (I’m always hungry for new challenges.) But family and faith obligations led me to pursue a more stable workday. I now serve as Implementation Manager at a rapidly growing K12 Human Capital Management software company. (It’s been fun.) My role has afforded me a wide open window into the K12 market and the unique challenges of their business and HR offices. These administrators are terrific people up against significant challenges. Their goal is far too grand with resources far too few to be burdened down with tedious tasks. I long to see these school leaders experience the joy and productivity of doing business with new and simple solutions so elegantly designed they wonder how they managed life without them. Forever curious--I’m excited for where the path will lead me next.
