Tim Church

Dr. Tim Church is the Chief Medical Officer of Wondr Health, a leading digital behavior change company that prevents and reduces the cost and impact of chronic health conditions. As one of the country’s leading clinical thought leaders in weight loss, exercise, and obesity research, Dr. Church oversees Wondr Health's advancing efforts to transform the health of individuals, workplaces, and the world around us by empowering people with lifelong behavior change skills and tools. He helps lead the development of the Wondr Health curriculum, which is inspired by his medical expertise. Dr. Church earned his Bachelor of Science in Animal Physiology at UC Davis, and his MD, MPH, and PhD at Tulane University. He has years of research experience, including at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center. As author of more than 300 published clinical articles, Dr. Church is a leading expert and has been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Oprah and more. Dr. Church impacts the lives of Wondr participants in many ways beyond weight. He truly believes that treatment is most effective when you treat the person and not the scale, and lives by “doing the most good, for the most people”.
