Timothy Peters

I started off in the manufacturing industry rising to finance manager and implemented a new manufacturing and finance system for the business. I also was involved in quality assurance (ISO9000) and health and safety. I have experience in imports and exports. I have also worked in the Leisure sector and and Public sector developing a wide range of skills and experience in various finance and management systems and techniques. I have worked for the past 12 years with Housing Associations and worked bringing change but training managers in finance and budgeting and helped to upgrade finance, housing and sales systems. With the changes brought about by FRS102 I have been involved in maintaining fixed assets with regards to component accounting and use of RAM AS4000 system. With the rapidly changing business environment in the housing and care sectors the finance, management and systems skill I have can meet these challenges. I was recently made redundant due to a reorganisation and centralisation of the finance team at Blackwood. I have recently worked as a Managent Accountantant at Perth College (UHI) so I now have some experience of working inthe Education sector and I am now back working in Social Housing.
