Timothy Tufer

Tim is a senior client service partner in the Advisory practice at Deloitte. In this role Tim leads the firm's relationship and client service delivery to a variety of clients principally in the consumer products and technology industries. Tim also works closely with other client teams as Lead Advisory Partner representing Deloitte's Advisory services. Tim's clients range from large publicly traded companies to middle-market enterprises. Tim previously lead the Accounting and Finance aspects of our Silicon Valley M&A Transaction Services practice. Tim has nearly 34 years-experience supporting multinational businesses and private equity investors in navigating the challenges of complicated domestic and cross-border transactions. Tim has consulted on hundreds of transactions and has served as an M&A transaction services lead while resident in the United States, the Russian Federation, Japan, and Hong Kong. Tim has spent nine years serving on of the worlds largest private equity investors on numerous transactions in the software and related technology industries including transactions involving large enterprise-wide software solutions, specialty software solutions, semiconductor manufacturing, web-based travel services, and others.
