I am an actuarial consultant at Aon, splitting my time between Aon's Member Options, GMP Equalisation and Corporate Consulting teams. In my role as a member of Aon's Member Options Team, I help employers and trustees to manage risk and increase member flexibility by introducing new options such as enhanced transfer values and pension increase exchanges. My current focus in on integrating member options into GMP equalisation projects; transforming a complex compliance exercise into a value add project for members, trustees and sponsors. I lead a team delivering joined-up projects in this area. In addition to this, I have a portfolio of clients who are sponsors of pension schemes. I help them to manage their pension risk within an affordable framework. I advise on all aspects of defined benefit pensions, including funding negotiations, pension scheme accounting and de-risking activities. I am a qualified actuary.
