Tom Daniels, PE

Tom has 12 years of civil and environmental engineering experience providing design, permitting, construction management and resident engineering services for a wide variety of projects across New England. Recently, Tom’s project work has been focused on site design and stormwater management for the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects across New England. Tom has a strong understanding of the unique challenges that face developers and how the nature of development can impact the permitting process. Additionally, Tom has experience working collaboratively with project owners, municipalities, and regulators to develop project designs that meet the needs of all parties involved and streamline the approval process. Tom is experienced in all aspects of design and quality assurance for the construction of solid waste landfill expansions and closures including: composite liner systems, active and passive landfill gas collection, leachate collection, geosynthetics inspection, barrier soils, and cover system component earthwork. Tom’s experience relating to environmental engineering includes: all phases of environmental assessments, remedial design and remediation, subsurface investigations, design and implementation of vapor mitigation systems, analysis of Brownfields clean-up alternatives, SPCC Plans, SWPPPs, and preparation of soil management and disposal work plans. Project experience ranges in complexity from small site development projects to heavy civil bridge construction.
