I have over 20 years of experience leading teams working on various process automation, application development and analytical data systems. These range from small simple solutions to customer facing B2B solutions typically focused on providing insights and a better customer experience. A strong believer that innovative solutions live at the edges of where technologies intertwine. I am explorer creating innovative solutions where these technologies and developers align to provide amazing new solutions. During my career I have focused on numerous technologies and platforms, but over the past decade while working closely with Microsoft I was honored to be a part of some exclusive groups within the partner ecosystem. This included being selected as a Most Valuable Professional for Data Platform (2016-17) along with being selected as a member of their Microsoft's Partner Advisory Council for BI and Advanced Analytics (2011-16). During this time, I was heavily focused on early adopters to Azure and other products released by Microsoft’s engineers and bringing clients a deep understanding of how they can apply these tools to their internal pain points within their organizations. Specialties: Expertise in Azure Cortana Intelligence and IoT Suites along with a strong knowledge of the AWS suite of data tools. Data systems including MS SQL Server, Apache Hadoop, Oracle, Informix, DB2, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. ETL/ELT tools including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Azure Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics, Hive, Pig, Informatica, and SyncSort. Reporting tools including Tableau, Power BI, PowerPivot, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), PerformancePoint, and Business Objects. Artificial Intelligence utilizing Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, R and Azure Cognitive Services. Coding languages including Python, Shell Scripting, and PowerShell.
