Why I look forward to Monday’s I’ve seen a lot of changes happen within the restaurant & retailing business over the years and although many concepts come and go, the ones that seem to stick around the longest are the ones that tread smartly. They offer a great product, stress both hospitality to their customers and foster a great corporate culture that allows their own people to succeed. I’ve been very fortunate to work in these environments and it’s helped me build a career that I truly love. I see myself as the assembly instructions for the American Dream. Working within a franchise business model, I get to meet all sorts of people with all sorts of dreams and aspirations. Helping them steer clear of bad deals and hidden dangers is what I enjoy most. I get to teach the craft that I’ve been honing for so long, mentor those around me that are early along in their careers and at the end of the day, as I do my job right, someone gets to feed their family and make plans for a secure future. Anyone can make a real estate deal (I’ve witnessed that way too many times), but to champion a project so that it is well-placed and profitable for years to come has always been my ultimate goal. I’ve built some of the highest volume (and more importantly - most profitable) stores and restaurants within these chains and along the way, have made many friends and helped feed a lot of families out there. Where do I excel? I enjoy assimilating into an existing culture. I have a unique passion for what I do and look to anticipate and solve problems quickly. I enjoy meeting new people and building quality relationships with them, bringing a new concept to various markets and fixing old ones that may need a bit of repair. At the end of the day, I love a challenge. But most of all; I look forward to Monday’s because it’s another chance to do it all over again.
