ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Doubled throughput of engineering group without increasing head count. Consolidated CAD & PDM systems, streamlined engineering design and review processes. Created new engineering workflows helping achieve ISO certification. Conceived and delivered a design which reduced scrap rate from 80% down to 1/2% on assembly for surgical bone reamer drills. Achieved an 84% reduction in time needed to measure nuclear reactor studs by creating a measurement instrument which embodied user oriented design in both user interface and mechanical design.
