Tonya Collins

I have had the opportunity to garner experience in various areas ranging from entertainment, producing sold out concerts, to earning publicity as a publicist, and most recently community engagement and effecting policy. Since my sophomore year in college, I have had the opportunity to garner experience in various areas ranging from entertainment, both radio and television, to lobbying as a public relations executive, and most recently community engagement and effecting local policy. I invest my free time in activities I am passionate about and enjoy- politics and comedy. In 2008, I started knocking doors for political candidates, locally and nationally. I phone banked initially in 2011 and became fully involved in door knocking, phone backing, and post card writing in 2013, activities I currently continue. I have been a poll worker since November 2020. In 2019, I enrolled and completed Improvisation 1.0 and 2.0 at The P.I.T (People's Improv Theater). I moved to UBC (Upright Citizens Brigade) and completed Sketch Writing 1.0 and Sketch Writing 2.0. I plan to enroll in advanced classes in the Fall.
