Aloha, I’m Topher. I’ve been in landscaping for over 5 years now, three of which I worked as the owner of my own general labor company, “Topher’s Go-fors: Manpower by the Hour.” Because of my ambition, hardcore work ethic, friendly professionalism, and reliability (and all by the grace of God), I’ve had the opportunity to work for some incredible clients such as Timber’s Resorts, Derek Kawakami, The Knudsen Trust, and Drew Brees, (to name just a few). I first came across Smart Mowers in 2018 and was astonished. These cool robots are like the Roomba vacuums, except of course that they mow your lawn (and do a spectacular job at it)! In high school, he studied Permaculture and interned on Daryl Kaneshiro's sheep ranch. He was always fascinated by innovation; at the age of just 17, he filed his first patent. Soon after, he graduated and began working full-time as a landscaper, doing regular maintenance and landscaping projects for seven different properties. He took a break from landscaping in the fall of 2016 to be a cowboy again for a bit, trading work with CJM Stables for riding experience, which he then brought to a beef cattle internship in Colorado/Wyoming. Upon his return, Topher resumed his landscaping job for six months, until he launched Topher's Go-fors: Manpower by the Hour. Noah Sherwood was one of his first employees. In only his 2nd year of business, at age 20, Topher grossed over $150,000 in sales. Later that same year, he came across Smart Mowers, and asked Noah up to be his partner in Topher's Go-fors: Smart Mowing. As Hawaii's first robotic lawn care service, they are now making history!
