I’m responsible for all aspects of the Anti-Corruption compliance program design, including risk-assessment, due diligence on third parties, human rights, sanctions, training, country risk, monitoring, managing whistleblowing matters and related investigations. Extensive experience in compliance-related issues arising in JV companies, mergers and acquisitions, as well as in post-merger compliance integration. I’m focused on providing practical compliance advice to manage compliance risk especially in high risk markets. I am a proactive compliance expert with solid global experience. A lawyer by education and 20 years of experience from various managerial positions has given me a valuable mix of legal and compliance insight, but also commercial and tactical knowledge to manage internal and external stakeholders with an interest in the outcome of compliance-related decisions. As Chief Compliance Officer in companies with operations in, or deliveries to the most risk-intensive global jurisdictions, including Africa, Asia, Brazil, Middle East, and Russia with a particular emphasis on the oil and gas industry, I have participated in critical decision-making through all levels of management - from strategic decisions at the board level to operational issues at remote locations. Previous Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and Chief Security Manager (CSM) in Lindorff Group AB, responsible for global compliance risk management and security across all business lines compromising 44 entities in 11 countries. Chair of the Lindorff Ethical council. Chair of the control committee of a Norwegian Bank and an insurance company. Member of the legal committee for the branch organization of debt collection agencies in Norway, chair of the committee (2000-2010).
