Tosh Dhupat

With over 24 years of experience within Architecture, I have worked on a variety of projects through all work stages from feasibility and inception to detail design and completion, both as design team leader and core team member. I have good team building and mentoring skills and am perceptive at finding and utilising individual strengths. Recognised and promoted to Associate in 2005, my roles and experiences have included working in a multi-disciplinary practice as principal / lead designer, design manager, project co-ordinator, site based design manager and design team leader liaising with both clients and contractors for delivery of projects both in the UK and overseas. Although I have worked on a range of projects in different sectors including Aviation & Airport Design, Ministry of Defence, Healthcare, Residential and Commercial for the past 14 years, I have predominantly specialised in Law and Order projects such as the design of prisons, police stations and detention centres. Highly competent in the use of AutoCAD, however for the past five years I have championed Revit promoting its use in the various TPS multidisciplinary offices to comply with the Government Construction Strategy 2011 (all government projects to be delivered to BIM level 2 standards by 2016). As an early adopter I took the initiative and responsibility for initiating a BIM collaborative working environment at TPS and have been fully involved in its development and implementation over the past years to ensure a greater efficiency of project delivery at all stages of work with the aim of successfully delivering projects to level 2 BIM compliance.
