Toshiki Nishimura

The main area of my career is litigation and general corporate matters. All of our client companies have variations in terms of their industries and scale. So I practiced various types of law, such as labor law, IP, compliance, anti-monopoly, financial law, personal information and so on. I have also dealt with diverse litigation and resolving iniquities (e.g. Securities litigation, damage suit caused by window dressing, construction-related dispute, labor case, actions for libel, etc.) and Mergers&Acquisitions (e.g. Providing advice and draft contracts for financial advisors of M&A, advise and drafting contracts for M&A, including due diligence, and invited to be a part-time in-house counsel by a listed trading company) The area which I am focusing on is Support Startups and Family Businesses. My experience about supporting startups includes helping establish Japanese companies including fintech and business consulting and conducting legal research for client’s new business model. Moreover, I have guided Family Business clients by providing advice about capitalization strategy, drafting legal bylaws, solving conflicts between employees and planning a shareholder succession. I graduated LL.M. In International Business Law in IE law school in Spain. I worked for a law firm in Spain and Panama temporarily to learn legal practice in each jurisdiction.
