Life Science is going through a truly interesting time. Diagnosing and Drug Treatment are merging to provide Personalized Medicine. Artificial Intelligence increases the speed of Insight and Data-Driven Research. Big Data/Real World Data including Health Registries, Private Data from Apps & Wearables, Clinical Trials, Patient Interviews etc provide a whole new fundament for personalized treatment. Drug Prices are ever Increasing and so is the Demand for Life Science to Document Value for Money. The true art in current Life Science is to understand and identify data of sufficiently high quality and adapt them into evidence. I have recently been involved in three large scale scientific projects ('HedaX', 'Oscar' and 'Nopia') all focusing on new ways of combining health data to improve personalized medicine. Besides the scientific projects I spend my time on Silvi.ai and Pharma Evidence, which are two synergistic companies working with Big Data and AI within drug development and personalized medicine.
