Travis Teegarden, E.I.T.

I started my career in the thermal power industry as a Level 1 Process Engineer in 2014 with SNC Lavalin Constructors Inc. After 1 year of experience in the office, I was offered the opportunity to see my designs come to fruition and became a Construction Engineer and transferred to the field to support the CPV St. Charles Energy Center project. Upon completion of CPV, I transferred to the PSEG Keys Energy Center project as a Mechanical Construction Engineer. I currently have 1 year of experience in the office and 2 years experience in the field for a total of 3 years in the thermal energy industry. My thermal power experience spans 2 projects as well as two summer internships with SNC-Lavalin prior to graduating from University. In addition to my career in thermal power, I held a Design Engineering position in the fluid power industry with Valin Corporation in 2014. This coupled with an internship in 2013 at Western Integrated Technologies sums up my experience in the fluid power industry giving me valuable experience with package designs. I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering and a minor in mathematics. I currently am on assignment in Maryland overseeing the construction of a 2x1 755 MW co-generation power plant. I am also an active member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). My long term goals include acquiring my PE in mechanical or chemical engineering, as well as my MBA and PMP. I have no fear of challenges and take great pride in my work.
