Trent Sebbens

Trent has extensive experience advising clients on a broad range of employment, industrial relations and work health and safety issues. Trent provides strategic legal advice to clients on industrial relations issues and disputes, workplace change initiatives and individual employment issues. In the area of work health and safety, Trent assists clients to respond to major safety incidents, deal with investigations by regulators and subsequent prosecution and coronial proceedings. Trent has in-depth experience in conducting complex litigation, and regularly appears for clients in proceedings in Commonwealth and New South Wales employment tribunals and courts. Prior to joining the firm Trent was an industrial officer for eight years with BHP Billiton which has given him a deep understanding of the business drivers and operational needs of clients, and enables him to provide financially focussed and solutions oriented advice. Trent was recognised as a Rising Star in the 2015 and 2017 editions of Doyle's Guide.
