Trevor Cappa, CPA

As an audit associate with KPMG I focused on Asset Management, primarily Real Estate. I worked on both private and public companies to ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX. I am a graduate of the UC Davis Graduate School of Management in the Master of Professional Accountancy program, as well as Humboldt State University and in December 2015 I received my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. I spent 7 years at Target where I started as a sales floor team member and worked my way up to Senior Team Leader, a role I held from 2011-2015. During my time as a team leader for Target I took pride in my ability to lead teams and develop talent. My emphasis was always on clear, direct communication and feedback as well as giving goals to my team members that were measurable and attainable with follow up to ensure performance was attained. I was also the donations captain, which afforded me the opportunity to work with local non-profit organizations to support their events and programs.
