I am a serial entrepreneur active across multiple infrastructure sectors (Power, Renewable Energy, Water, and Property Development) and currently focused on growing Maven Consulting into a $50M annual revenue organization operating throughout the Americas by 2030, as well as Vertex Developments to have $500M of projects under management by 2025. While watching my father run several small businesses during my youth, the seed was planted to become an entrepreneur. I could not resist the challenge of building a business and the excitement of charting my own path. My first business was sparked by the need to pay my university fees and desire to gain more experience in my industry. Starting as a hydroelectric maintenance engineer consultant, this eventually leading to the launch of my first company MTT Technologies. Setting me on the trajectory for my career. In my roles as a CEO and Principal, I interact with, serve, and lead a broad range of senior management and front-line staff. I am attuned to difference-making details. This perspective serves my companies well as I identify market opportunities, plan strategies, put systems in place, and ultimately take accountability for both the success of the business and satisfaction of our clients. I want our clients to experience support and sensitivity to their needs throughout our projects. Developing a trust they can rely on again and again. My approach to every business situation is to be honest, real, and professional. This approach has consistently produced positive results. Maven Consulting ranked #31 on the Maclean’s 2017 Startup 50 list of Canada’s fastest growing new companies and further recognized over three consecutive years (2019-2021) on the Growth 500 list. Also, Axia Software appeared on the national C100 Canadian Technology Success list in 2012. When I am not busy working, my hobbies are running, skiing with my family, and continually perfecting the best BBQ chicken on the block!
