I am an expert content manager and communications specialist with vast experience producing content for a range of digital (websites, emails, social, video) and print (reports, advertisements, brochures, articles and annual reports) channels. I can also code html, understand CSS, edit images and have worked with many content management and email systems. I’ve worked in the corporate, government and non-profit sectors across a range of industries such as education, government policy, tourism, sport, health, environment and retail. Formally, I have a MA in Multimedia, Marketing and Web Applications, a BA in Media Communications and various digital marketing certificates. I have also completed professional courses in project management, SEO, website production, image editing, marketing and social media. I have experience in: • Team management and training– from two to 16 people. • Project management – waterfall and agile methods. • Content strategy development in web, email and online video. • Search engine optimisation/article marketing, online analytics and UX. • Social media management and content production – Radian6, blogging, video, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flickr and MySpace. • Journalism , editing, writing Plain English and style guide management. • Blogging where I built and produced a blog called Greenfoot, which at the time the Sunday Age described as “one of the best Australian eco blogs”.
