Tristan Johnson

I am currently a PhD student at the University of Western Ontario working on a research project on the the intersection of communication technology and memorialization in regards to the 9/11 attacks.. Through this years at Western I have gained experience in teaching, researching, and writing under deadlines. Through my work with various bodies, such as the Bishop's University Student's Representative Council, History Association, and Western's Society of Graduate Students, I have taken roles of leadership, delegation, and decision-making. Currently, I am searching for opportunities to take academic work and bring it out to wider audiences. I firmly believe in public education and discussion on the important events of the day. First and foremost, I am dedicated to a conscientious life. In that pursuit, my ambitions include never taking a job that is ethnically objectionable. My overall philosophy is that of the Scouts, leave the site cleaner than when you arrived. If you are looking for people to help make the world a better place, I'm listening.
