Coming from a technical base in Food Technology and product development I've spent over 20 years working in sales and marketing of ingredients within the food and nutrition industries in Australia and New Zealand. I love sourcing new ingredients and developing strong partnerships with global manufacturers to bring trending or innovative ingredients to our local manufacturers in New Zealand and Australia. Combining a knack for spotting developing trends and opportunities with technical understanding of raw materials, experience within production environments and out-of-the-box thinking helps me to bridge the gap between procurement, marketing, production and new product development. I enjoy supporting our local Food Technologists in getting an idea/concept to reality through application of technical and nutritional raw materials. I now have a particular interest in good nutrition for all ages, and nutritional supplementation for infants, general population, and sports performance. I have proven results in sourcing and supply, business management, business development, product management, strategy development and R&D.
