Worked for 41 years at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre as a Scientific Officer and retired after 31st December, 2012, as Director, Chemistry Group. My latest grade was "Distinguished Scientist" and a Senior Professor at the Homi Bhabha National Institute. After this, I took over as Director, Shah-Schulman Center for Surface Science and Nanotechnology, affiliated to Dharmsinh Desai University, Nadiad, Gujarat. Thiscenter was founded by Dr Dinesh O Shah, one of the most well-known surface scientist known globally, as a tribute to hos Motherland. Due to the most unimaginative and unsupportive attitude of the VC, I resigned on 31st May 2016.
