Tuomas Laesterä

Born and raised in a small village, now in a big city and still haven't be pushed out back to the middle of the fields. Sport is really close to my heart and I could do it or talk about it for hours. When I was young, I played sports competitively, but nowadays I do several different sports mainly for my own pleasure. I also like traveling, reading and listening to books and podcasts. So far I have taken logical steps forward in my career; intern, advisor, BBA, coordinator, MBA, manager. I am currently working at Mandatum to grow and strengthen our market share among different solutions. My job is to identify the situation of an entrepreneur or company and enable them to find a better solution to problems related to personal risks, pension arrangements or personnel compensation. My job is challenging but I like it. Every day I get to meet entrepreneurs, CEOs and CFOs from different industries, companies of different sizes and different personal backgrounds, hear about their current situation and improve their situation with different solutions. Thanks to my education, I am able to internalize large entities and illustrate the effects of change on the whole or one part of it. I like meeting new people and I usually get along with everyone. In addition to work matters, I'm also happy to chat about things like football, tennis, investing, padel or ice hockey, if you want to exchange ideas with me.
