Currently supporting the Materials Handling Projects Delivery team with several projects that deliver an incremental increase in BHP's production targets. I have spent a significant amount of time as an Analysis & Improvement Engineer (Reliability Engineer) in the BHP Graduate Program. I believe I will find my niche in improvement roles as I have a passion for solving business problems using systems thinking and structured communications. As an A&I Engineer I was exposed to a fantastic ensemble of learning experiences within Yandi Fixed Plant Maintenance. I have made a significant improvement in the Work Management Process Metrics by challenging the systems in place and leveraging on strong influencing skills to change the process discipline. I created and implemented a 5 year plan and 2 year budget for FPM which was in line with our leadership vision and company strategy. I also worked in Rail Engineering and my movement from Mines to Rail gave me a good understanding of how the supply chain is impacted from Ore processing to Rail Ore transportation to Port. I am a big picture person with a genuine interest in continuous improvement.
