I’m driven by what can be achieved in any endeavour through clear and effective communication. It’s a passion of mine. Whether in broadcasting, digital news, a corporate environment, a public sphere, within a family or in any relationship, without clarity of communication, your chances of a successful outcome of your goals are pretty slim. So, bringing about a change and making a difference in the world through effective communication are things which truly drive me. I have broad experience in both broadcast and online journalism, internal and external communications, crisis management, media & stakeholder engagement - globally. My experience in these areas has been within the public and private sectors at both strategic and operational levels. Having worked in a number of communication industry areas, my expertise also includes crisis management, strategy development & delivery, media training - as well as brand management and protection. Apart from being able to effect positive change in organisations and with stakeholder groups, my greatest professional satisfaction comes through team building and developing relationships internally and externally to achieve common goals.
