I bring a high level of creativity, critical thinking and work ethic to the building of websites. I earned the Front-End Web Development and FullStack JS certifications from Treehouse. This spans the fundamental languages of the web through SASS, AJAX, and up to React, NodeJS, and SQL.I credit my sense of discipline, aesthetic sense and workmanship to my background as a classically-trained musician. I am passionate about making sites web accessible and studying design principles to assist in building more efficient code structures.Currently a collaborator in the CharkaUI team, contributing to the OSS UI component library package and its docsite. My current focus has been on improving the quality of the Docsite, the contribution process, and assisting with issues provided by developers both on Github and in the dedicated Discord community.As an active musician I still play in the RDU area, currently with liturgical services, and previously with high-level community ensembles. Aside from playing, I like to fish and hope to one day get a private pilot license!
