I am an analytical chemist with specific expertise in metabolomics (current) and proteomics (longer ago), and with interest in both environmental and human health. I have solid experience in different chromatographic techniques and in a wide range of biological mass spectrometry, experience (and enjoyment) in dealing with a diverse set of collaborations, leading small teams and teaching. My research has been both in the medical and biological fields. My favorite lines of research are combinations – metabolomics, proteomics and transcriptomics; chromatography, MS and NMR (especially for my “hobby”, natural products chemistry; and of course analytical chemistry with biology and medical research.
