I am a civil/structural engineer with 3 years of experience in academia, 6 years of experience in the offshore oil & gas industry, and 2 years of experience in managing construction and renovation projects. My areas of expertise are offshore installations, pipeline engineering, structural design, project engineering, construction & project management, and tendering for the new projects. I am open for new challenges in any of these areas. Some of my accomplishments: • Developed work methods and work manuals for pull-in, DMA installations, pipeline installations, offshore pipeline structure installations and final laydown operations. • Designed pipeline structures internally with structural engineers and participated in design meetings with clients and third parties to optimize pipeline structure designs. • Prepared scope of work packages for several proposals (€1Mto €100M). • Proposed and implemented technical solutions for concrete crushing criteria for pipeline installation for Polarled project. Final solution saved 25-30 days of work offshore. • Participated in interface meetings with clients, third parties and subcontractors to share experience, recognize business concerns, and solve technical challenges from conceptual design phase till commissioning phase. • Developed installation solution for complementary structures for pipeline end termination • Reviewed projects and BOQ’s and prepared bids for Johan Sverdrup and Polarled projects. • Developed estimates, direct and indirect costs calculations; submitted bids based on technical and commercial studies. • Supervised subsea operations internally and externally. • Supervised offshore teams during project executions in field to implement work manuals and developed solutions for problems arising during construction. • Got awarded three small size construction and renovation projects via my own company. • Provided mentoring and advice to junior engineers. • Prepared project close-out reports.
