Upendo F. M. John

My first work experience was at Tanzania Bureau of Standards when I was there for field attachment as a first year university student. My journey was sooo good because I learned about preparing staff training templates, organizing on job and off job staff training and perfornance assessment. In 2014 I got my first government job as an administrative officer/Student's loan officer/credit officer at the Eastern African Statistical Training Centre. I helped the centre to minimize student's riots and strikes by ensuring that I resolve every dispute concerning the delay of the student's loans. In 2017 I joined the Bible Society of Tanzania (a religious and non profit organization) as a personal assistant to the General Secretary/CEO. A job that I now enjoy doing and that has brought me so much closer to God and made me think of the most positive sides of everything including life, people and the different cultures existing in the world.
