The GRIP eco-system includes: • 𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐏 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 - an investment holding focused upon allocating and incubating businesses to redefine legacy financial services; • 𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐏 (𝐃𝐈𝐅𝐂) 𝐋𝐭𝐝. – an investment banking and wealth management firm licensed and regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), established within the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC); and • 𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐏 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐥 – Luxembourg based, CSSF registered (in progress) Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM) My career began 19 years ago within investment banking / investment management as a Bond Trader and since I have gone on to establish and lead the Asset Management Division (AMD) of a regional bank, managed assets of Oman National Investment Corporation (ONIC), have launched multiple funds, structured wealth management products, executed acquisitions, handled 15+ initial public offerings (IPOs), debt issuances and have raised investment capital in excess of USD 1.5 billion across asset-classes and risk-thresholds. As a cross-asset investment manager, my expertise includes managing assets across US, European, Asian and regional (GCC), listed equities, debt securities, commodity ETFs - managing direct private equity investments into financial services and industrial sectors, within the GCC and real estate investments across Western Europe and the GCC. I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants – U.K. (FCMA), Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment – U.K. (MCSI), Certified Practising Accountant (CPA Aust.), Chartered Global Management Accountant – (CGMA) and UAE Chartered Accountant (UAECA). I have a First-Class Honours Degree in Applied Accounting (BSc. Hons.) and hold an International Certificate in Wealth & Investment Management (ICWIM).
