Generalist developer with experience in both server and client side things, but leaning towards backend stuff (the deeper in "the back" - the better). I'm not afraid to learn and use new tech if it fits requirements (regardless of the hype around it). Currently working on a large scale open source Continuous Integration system for Chrome (keywords: Chrome LUCI), focusing on security and maintainability. Thousands of machines, hundreds hours of tests per day, tens of platforms (desktops, mobile, exotic hardware). No downtimes :) Writing in Go 90% of the time for the last couple of years and enjoying it. Also have full proficiency with Python. And some rusty C++, Java, C# (can probably get up to speed if needed). General stuff: good design skills (at small and large scales), a critical eye for details, unit testing culture, code review culture. Just very cultured guy overall :) Backend stuff: devopsy (automation, admin) and dev experience (as SWE) with Postgres, Cassandra, Redis, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (esp. Appengine, datastore, storage, big query, compute engine, IAM). Pure devopsy stuff: Debian Linux (and a bit of OSX and Windows), Puppet, AWS/GCP automation (autoscalers, image building, etc), Zabbix, Graphite. Client side: did some iOS apps (none survived to be in the appstore today), some cross-platform Qt stuff on C++, some purely Win32/.NET stuff. All these skills are rusty, but can be brought back if needed. Frontend stuff: not much here, mostly basic Javascript+DOM skills (+ jquery, + tiniest bit of Polymer). Have full understanding of the stack, just never really had a need to use "modern" cool tech like React/Vue. What I DON'T have experience with, but open to learning: Kubernetes, Istio, Envoy, IPFS, Prometheus/Grafana/InfluxDB, Hashicorp Vault & Consul (and rest of their stack), Kafka, Rust, Scala, Erlang. What I'm totally indifferent to: Ruby, Mongo, Node, blockchains, machine learning, Hadoop.
