Valena Wright, M.D.

Valena Wright is a board-certified Gynecologic Oncologist at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center part of Beth Israel Lahey Health. During more than 25 years of clinical practice, she has been named numerous times to Boston Magazine's Annual Top Doctors List. She is the Director of Gynecologic Oncology at Lahey Health and Medical Center, as well as the director of the AAGL Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship. Her passion for helping women avoid cancer, know their treatment options and regain their health inspired her first book: It's Time You Knew, The Power of Your Choices to Prevent Women's Cancer published February 18, 2021. She is dedicated to elevating the quality and safety of health care for women through excellence in clinical practice, education, research, innovation, and advocacy.
