Valentina Rossi

Valentina has a Bachelor’s in international Relations from the University of Geneva and a Joint Master of Science in Sustainable Development with specialisation in Environmental and Resource Economics from the University of Graz, Austria and the University of Leipzig, Germany. During her master studies she designed and prepared for implementation in Nigeria a project on water management, that includes UNICEF and university stakeholders as partners. She has been managing learning projects for the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in the capacity of consultant, including trainings for United Nations member states, diplomats, university students and private participants. Her personal academic research focuses on a systemic analyses of how education for sustainable development triggers institutional and behavioural change. Her long term goal is to contribute to transform the business as usual model both by giving an example through her actions and by developing education programs to support the transition to a more sustainable social model. Valentina is an enthusiastic, determined and sensitive. During the past years she has worked in inter-disciplinary teams and culturally-diverse environments that contribute to her development as a person and as young professional.
