Success is often measured by occupation, income or praise; I believe that the best measure of success is happiness. After all, my mother and grandmother immigrated to the United States in pursuit of happiness. Knowing about the sacrifices they made and the challenges they faced as empty-handed immigrants is what motivates me. I am driven because I am determined to return the favor and make them the happiest mother and grandmother. Fortunately, these traits and ambitions of mine are not exclusive to my family. I am extremely eager to pursue consulting for businesses internationally because I yearn for others to be successful, no matter how they choose to measure their success. I am a high-spirited, motivated and energetic business student at Washington University in St. Louis pursuing a BSBA in Economics and Strategy and Finance with a minor in French. Throughout my recent experiences as a researcher, accounting intern and consulting intern, I have become more knowledgeable in several areas: - Understanding the pace, workflow and demands of a busy company - Taking on different perspectives to surpass an obstacle or solve a problem - Being a patient, careful and selfless listener to better understand another's needs
