Van Aar

Schooled in landscape architecture, Urban developed himself into an all round urban designer and team leader with a wide international experience in master planning and design. Urban worked for more than 20 years in the ‘Randstad’ (the Dutch delta metropole with more than 6 million inhabitants), for the cities of Amsterdam and The Hague and for his own design company. He made many designs for public space such as parks, squares, streets and new residential areas. Besides this he produced policy plans and advises for spatial development of urban areas. Working for Royal HaskoningDHV he focuses on international, large scale urban and landscape design projects. In his home country he also works on designs for urban parks, new residential quarters, industrial sites and large infrastructure and nature projects. Urban combines a creative mind, with pratical solutions. He has a talent for the design of attractive and functional urban space. He masters the design trade from concept up to realisation. He is an inspiring team player and a friendly communicator.
