I have been doing research in the electrical power system area, such as: automation of tasks in electrical studies of power systems involving the ANAFAS and ATP software, including for this a Python graphical interface; monitoring of wide area power systems (WAMS) for electrical system operation; synchronized phasor measurement; phasor measurement unit (PMU) and phasor data concentrator (PDC); microgrids operation and control, including a pilot project in the city of Curitiba, Brazil, which is already in operation. In these research activities, I have used tools such as object orientated Python programming, Matlab, LabVIEW, among others. In addition, I am able to apply artificial intelligence techniques, such as machine learning, to research projects in a timely manner. Additionally, I have experience in modeling, coding, development, and field deployment of self-healing solution, with one case currently in operation in a distribution network of a power distribution utility. I also have more than 10 years of experience in power system automation. Due to this history of projects and experience, I believe I am able to take on research projects in the electricity sector, as well as develop research activities in this area. Tenho feito pesquisas na área de sistema elétrico de potência tais como: automação de tarefas em estudos elétricos de sistemas de potência envolvendo os softwares ANAFAS e ATP, incluindo uma interface gráfica Python; monitoramento de sistemas de potência área ampla (WAMS) para operação do sistema elétrico; medição fasorial sincronizada; unidade de medição fasorial (PMU) e concentrador de dados phasoriais (PDC); microrredes de energia incluindo um projeto piloto na cidade de Curitiba, Brasil, o qual já está em operação. Nessas atividades de pesquisa, tenho utilizado ferramentas tais como orientação a objetos Python, Matlab, LabVIEW, entre outras. Além disso, sou capaz de aplicar oportunamente aos projetos de pesquisa técnicas de inteligência artificial, tais como aprendizagem de máquina.
