Vanja Avdic

I completed an undergraduate and Masters degree in biochemistry at the University of Ottawa. During my Masters, I was successful in publishing three first author papers in the field of structural biology. I am currently enrolled in Dalhousie University’s Masters of Resource and Environmental Management. The decision to enter this program stemmed from my long-standing interest in ecology, and sustainability and the role of science in developing environmental policy and strategies. Throughout my academic and work endeavors I developed research, writing, project management, critical thinking, and leadership skills. I hope to combine these with my creativity, drive, passion, and teamwork abilities to start a career in the field of sustainability and sustainable development.
