Vasugi Suthananthan

Hi, my name is Vasugi and I am a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering(First Class Honours) graduate (2018) from RMIT. My passion in life comes from being able to make a postive change in someones life, being honest, facing challenges and working with others. I have worked as a Survey Officer (internship) on a project : Open Space Inventory & Condition Assessment. This project focused on the management of assets within open space areas available to the community. I have completed 12 Engineering Projects during my course, where I wrote multiple reports and conducted presentations. The projects consisted of 4-6 members. My research project specialised in Power to Gas. I have been a RMIT Student-Staff Consultative Committee member that represented the student body in monthly held meetings. I have volunteered at multiple events through RMIT student ambassador completing a variety of job ranging from talking to clients to helping set up the events. Furthermore, as a RMIT Student Learning Adviser Mentor, I provided any form of help to students in regards to academics problems. In my spare-time, I like to attend workshops which provide me with opportunity to develop. Recent workshops I have attended include the RMIT Leadership Forum and SSCC Leadership Training.
