Prof V.Chandrasekaran achieved two gold medals in BE in EEE and ME in Electrical Engineering and then had a stint in electrical MV switch gear manufacturing company M&M Ltd at Chennai followed by an experience in Thermal Power generation and Industrial projects division at TCE, Bangalore. He then shifted to State of Qatar to lead HV/EHV Transmission project management team at the Ministry of Electricity and Water, Doha, Qatar. In the year 1991 he migrated to Australia to undertake PhD in Neural Networks applied to Computer Vision domain. Subsequent to his PhD and post-doc fellowship at the University of Melbourne he joined IBM Global Services Australia in the year 1998 as a Project Management Professional to lead IT development for Telstra, In the year 2004, moved onto India to serve the country from where he hails from. Currently employed at SSSIHL, Prasanthinialyam as HOD for Maths and CS department.
