Vernon Cuipers

I'm a software engineer working on a trading platform at Stake Shop Ltd. I enjoy working on high performance code and finding ways to improve and optimize how a program runs. I'm a strong believer of the continuous improvement model of making small incremental improvements alongside new functionality that add up to a significant measurable improvement. My day to day job involves developing Java microservices incorporating a wide range of technologies and frameworks including Spring Boot, Spring cloud, docker, AWS. Outside of work I enjoy a variety of interests and activities that pull me away from the computer screen such as surfing and hiking and I occasionally dive into some rugby. I also pursue growth in my field by working on personal projects that use technologies and programming languages that interest me, such as C++.
