I am an experienced family solicitor and member of Resolution and the Family Mediators Association. With over 20 years specialising in family work and mediation, I am an accredited expert in areas of private law, children and financial provision within divorce. I have worked as a specialist family mediator for over nine years. I am a qualified professional practice consultant which enables me to work with other mediators to develop their practice. I am also a complaints officer for the Family Mediators Association. Working in mediation I understand how difficult the process can be and I try to ensure that clients are treated respectfully and sensitively. Keeping this in mind I also try to focus clients on resolving matters cheaply and without the need for litigation. I approach both my legal and mediation work with pragmastism, seeking to find the right solution for each individual situation. As a solicitor, I pride myself on the clarity of my advice, especially in consideration of the costs involved. As a mediator, I have the same clear approach when guiding clients through very difficult and emotional times.
