Vicky Sheard

Clinical Research Nurse with specialist interest in early phase oncology and haemato-oncology clinical trials. Currently part of the senior nursing team at the Christie Clinical Research Facility: providing in and outpatient care to our cancer clinical trial patients, supporting staff development and research education, working on service improvement and using my passion for clinical research to engage colleagues across our Trust. Experience as Lead Research Nurse on a number of first-in-human and first-in-combination Phase I cancer clinical trials, with a postgraduate qualification in experimental cancer medicine. Previous career experience in health policy, lobbying and campaigning, and an experienced media spokesperson. Committed to nursing and to the improvement of clinical research, with an excellent academic record and an unusual breadth of skills, experience and knowledge.
