Victor Hugo Calle Gil

I am a researcher with strong multidisciplinary knowledge in Big Data, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Electric and Electronic Engineering, Material Science, Radio Astronomical Instrumentation, among others. I have been working in the research area for about 15 years. I enjoy solving problems of great technical difficulty. I have social and communication skills that allow me to interact as a team. I am currently leading and working on machine learning and artificial intelligence applications that predict the behavior of different, physical, mathematical economic and social models. Until recently, I lead the Data scientist group for Navigo Mining S.A. Focused on the developing of Machine Learning applications. I was successful in developing various Machine Learning Projects. Colleagues know me as a methodic, enthusiast and a hard worker capable of transform problems into challenges, and a hight teamwork spirit. I have a Master from Universidad del Quindío and a Ph.D. From Universidad de Chile.
