Mr. Zimmermann joined Symbridge as Chief Legal Officer in June, 2019. Prior to joining Symbridge, Mr. Zimmermann founded Blue Water Strategy Partners LLC in October, 2018. Blue Water is an Affiliate Partner of Stonehaven-LLC, a global capital raising platform connecting select investment opportunities with its extensive network of sophisticated investors. Blue Water leverages Stonehaven’s robust infrastructure and industry insights and their community of capital raising professionals along with Mr. Zimmermann’s relationships and over 30 years’ legal experience advising domestic and global clients in all aspects of investment management, to build long term value across relationships primarily in Europe and North and South America. Mr. Zimmermann was also formerly a co-founder of a law firm and builder and manager of a branch office and practice groups (Former Co-Chair of Venture Capital and High-Technology and Investment Management practice groups) of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle, LLP, an AmLaw 200 international law firm. Mr. Zimmermann was also previously with the Division of Enforcement of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D. C.
