Victoria Cafik, BA, CAHP

Victoria Cafik has been involved in varying aspects of hundreds of archaeological projects in her 15 years of experience in cultural resource management in Ontario. Currently, she is the Indigenous Engagement and Accommodations Manager for Archaeological Research Associates Ltd. In this role Victoria has coordinated engagement on archaeological projects with 66 First Nations and Metis communities throughout Ontario. In her previous roles at ARA as Archaeological Field Technician, Assistant Field Director, Technical Writer, Assistant Project Manager, and Interim Operations Manager (Archaeology), Victoria has conducted and supervised Stage 1-4 archaeological assessments, conducted archaeological construction monitoring, drafted archaeological assessment reports, organized fieldwork, prepared archaeological field strategies, conducted archaeological potential modeling and has prepared and submitted proposals. Victoria holds an Honours B.A. In Near Eastern Archaeology from WLU, has supervised square excavations at Khirbat al-Mudayna ath- Thamad in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, is a member of the OAS, holds an R-level archaeological licence with the MHSTCI (#R437) and is a Professional Member of the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals (CAHP).
