Based in the capital Ankara as a freelance foreign correspondent, I focus my coverage on the intersection of business, politics, and economics. Before relocating to Turkey, I spent five years at the BBC in London, where I presented flagship business programmes for the World Service, and hosted Marketplace Morning Report — a breakfast show made in partnership with American Public Media that brings global business news to millions of American listeners on US public radio stations each day.
